Snowed In

I am snowed in with my bests. We did the usual, laugh, chat, catch up about boys (or lack there of), swap stories about our drunken escapades from the semester past, and just really enjoyed each others presence. Its a large part of why I love coming home.
We sipped wine (from a disgusting amount of bottles for three people... four, if you include holly's brother), homemade cookies, hand baked pizza, and snacked on hummus and crackers.
By Jonny's request we watched the majority of the Casino, but after he was completely inappropriate and spilled red whine all over the couch and white rug, we decided it was our time to take over the remote and watch a sappy love movie. The Holiday.
Watching the Holiday fills me with the Christmas joy, but at the same time scares me into thinking that I might turn into that pathetic woman who falls in love with someone who will never love me back. Could I stoop that low? Will I ever find the man of my dreams? I sure hope so, but I am starting to think that the constant viewing of all these amazing sappy love movies is setting me up for something much less. We will have to wait and see! :)

Home for break

Finals are finally over and I am home for Christmas break. I must say, the end of a semester is always bitter sweet for me. I am happy to be done with all classes, and happy to be home with friends and family, but I am always sad to be leaving my friends from school behind. Sooo I will plan silly sleepovers and roadtrips to visit them. I cant wait.
Tomorrow there is a snow storm coming and I couldnt be more excited. I had plans to go to another one of those ugly sweater parties but I think the place I want to be the most is snowed in, baking cookies, laughing, drinking hot coco, and singing along to Christmas music. Now doesnt that just sound idealistic?
Speaking of snow, have you ever really looked really closely at snowflake?? They are amazing! I legit could state at them for hours. When you get really close you can see that they are wonderfully textured and incredibly delicate. I love it. I love the saying no two snowflakes are the same. I luff it. I love it. I lurve it.
Watch the great love movie Annie Hall, its where the great quote "Love is too weak a word for what I feel -- I lurve you, you know, I loave you, I loff you, two F's, yes I have to invent, of course I -- I do, don't you think I do?" came from.
You'll Luff it! <3

So here it is... my blog. This is where I will post all my witty comments, strange thoughts, judgmental jabs, idiosyncrasies, aaand anything else that really comes to mind! Right now I should be studying for my Labor Relations final, and it would have helped if I hadn't skip so many classes. But there is nothing I can do about that now. Oh well... Instead I will blog, listen to music and curl up to a good movie.
Lastly, here is a good song that I am pretty much obsessed with at the moment.

"I wish you didn't go to bed <3 Cat"
